Meet Our Team!

We are a small and mighty team. We aim to support our adult learners within The Pivot Path. We are thrilled that we get to do this much needed work!

Ashley Johnson is a passionate individual with a strong focus on leadership. She has actively engaged in community leadership cohorts and is a graduate of the Alabama Leadership Initiative and Leadership Montgomery Torchbearers. She also holds an MBA in Business Administration from Columbia Southern University.

Ashley's dedication to making a difference extends beyond her professional endeavors. She serves as a board member for the Montgomery Mann Museum and Zoo, where she actively contributes to the organization's mission.

As a certified John Maxwell Speaker, Trainer & Coach, Ashley utilizes her expertise to support and assist overcomers to see, seize, and believe in their dreams and live a more purposeful life. As an adult learner she knows the struggles with thoughts of inadequacy & self doubt. Through The Pivot Path she has made it her mission to give back to adult learners to help them succeed not only personally, but professionally.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Ashley embraces her role as a mother to her two children, Maddie and Maddox. She enjoys indulging in Netflix series, listening to captivating audiobooks, and actively volunteering in her local community.

Rebecca Shepard affectionately known as Beck! With a vibrant personality and a passion for music, Rebecca brings a unique energy to our team. Rebecca achieved her GED through The Pivot Path and is the first graduate of the program, showcasing her determination and commitment to personal growth.

Music is Rebecca's muse, as she plays guitar, piano, and ukulele, and possesses a captivating singing voice. Her love for music extends beyond playing instruments, as she collects records and attends concerts whenever possible. With an eclectic taste in music, Rebecca embraces various genres, always seeking new sounds to inspire her.

Beyond her musical interests, Rebecca adorns her world with all things pink and sparkly, cherishing the beauty of flowers and butterflies. Her favorite quote, Psalm 30:5, reflects her optimistic outlook on life: "Although pain may last through the night, joy comes in the morning!" In fact, she plans to commemorate this verse with a tattoo, appreciating the artistry and individuality that tattoos symbolize.

Rebecca's enthusiasm and ability to engage in meaningful conversations make her a natural communicator.
